118th Annual Dinner of the Board of Trustees
In Memory of Brian C. Doherty
Thursday, February 3, 2011 5:30pm
Brian C. Doherty will always be remembered as one of Hudson County’s
greatest treasures. His advocacy, quiet generosity, and unconditional love
impacted the lives of countless youth and their families. Brian was the sole
sponsor of the Boys & Girls Club’s Competitive Basketball Program from
its’ inception in 1987 until 1998. He was responsible for providing
opportunities for hundreds of high school students to be observed by many
of the most respected college coaches in the country. As a result, these
youngsters have become successful adults in today’s complex society. Please
join us in honoring this year’s recipients of the Brian C. Doherty
Community Service Awards:
