CEO Message - Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County
A Message from the CEO
Greetings from our CEO!
It is with great pleasure I welcome you to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County. For the past 126 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County has been providing young people experiences to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
During the school year, one out of four children leave school with no place to go, putting them at risk of being unsupervised, unguided and unsafe during the critical after school hours. It is our priority to make sure that no child in this community is left without hope and opportunity. That is why we have joined more than 4,100 Clubs nationwide to provide youth with a safe and fun place to go after school with positive adult mentors, healthy lifestyle activities, and character and leadership programs that give them the greatest chances of success in life.
It is a privilege to serve our members and see them transformed by the many impact-driven programs offered here at our Clubs. Whether it’s enhancing technology skills in the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, keeping healthy with sports and recreation in the gym, opening their minds with art projects, or enjoying a healthy meal nightly, our youth are learning skills and behaviors that put them on the path to a great future.
We know that, when we work as one, we move young people and communities forward. Our work with young people, especially those who need us most is the focus for all of our efforts. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County allows youth and caring adult professionals the ability to join in and advocate in the name of stronger communities.
I invite you to open the door, tour our facilities, meet our staff, and see how our Clubs are impacting more than 2,000 Hudson County youth yearly. We look forward to your visit!
